Video: ProCharger straps its 2011 Mustang 5.0 to the dyno
ProCharger released details on its supercharger system for the 2011 Mustang earlier this month, and their results show that the new 5.0-liter V8 pairs quite nicely with forced induction. Using their P-1SC-1 supercharger and running 7 psi with 91 octane, ProCharger claims an impressive 510 rwhp. The HO intercooled system retails for $5,896 while the tuner kit goes for $5,196.
For those that need some visuals to go along with the details, ProCharger has released a new video with a pair of 2011 Mustangs on the dyno. The first, a California Special, nets 520.8 rwhp, while the second, a regular Mustang GT, produces 527.9 rwhp. Impressive numbers, indeed. Interested? ProCharger has announced that they are shipping kits as of yesterday.
You can view the video below, and be sure to turn up the speakers for that distinctive ProCharger sound.
