Roush’s much-anticipated supercharger for the 2011 Mustang is nearly here, but the company has released some initial details for its upcoming tuner kit to hold us over until it’s officially released later this month. The TVS2300 ROUSHcharger, first featured on the P-51a Mustang, replaces the old Eaton M90-based supercharger as the blower of choice. The system also includes a 90mm pulley good for 7psi of boost (75mm and 73mm pulleys are available separately), 47 lb/hr fuel injectors, high-flow fuel rails, twin 60mm throttle body, HD tensioner, and a high-flow Roush air lid.

Roush says that the system is capable of producing 500-550 horsepower on the stock fuel pump, and can top 600 horsepower with an upgraded fuel system. The tuner kit carries a 90 day warranty on Roush parts only and does not include PCM calibration, so professional tuning is required. Pre-orders are currently being accepted, and the supercharger systems should be ready for shipment sometime in early September. Those interested in a complete kit will have to wait until late fall when Roush plans to release a more comprehensive supercharger system with with a full Roush warranty and calibration.
