Anvil Pro-Touring 1969 Mustang

Renowned custom car maker Pure Vision Design and Anvil Auto, producers of custom carbon fiber parts for muscle cars, have teamed up for a unique Mustang project that will debut at SEMA later this year. Based off of a 1969 fastback, the “Anvil Mustang” will be the launch pad for new line of carbon fiber parts for  1969-1970 Mustangs and should represent one of the most impressive pro-touring Mustangs ever built.

While the look of the car will remain classic, much of the Anvil Mustang’s parts will be swapped with modern componentry. The hood, fenders, front and rear spoilers, deck lid, and rear quarter extensions will all be made from carbon fiber, and it will be able to handle well thanks to a custom coilover suspension, Flaming River electric power steering and 14″ Baer brakes with 6-piston calipers. The heart of the Anvil Mustang will be a massive 521ci V8 built by legendary engine builder John Kaase producing 805 horsepower. The car will also feature a Tremec 5-speed transmission, kevlar clutch, and custom rims and interior. Expect plenty of pictures from the SEMA show floor when the car is officially unveiled in November.
