Shelby considering additional models including V6, Twin-Turbo GT500
Shelby is considering several new aftermarket Mustang projects including a twin-turbo package for the 2007-2009 GT500 and a performance package for the 2010-2011 Mustang GT and Mustang V6. Shelby is currently asking its customers for feedback to decide which models to produce, and it seems likely that the 2011 GT350 could be joined by at least one additional Mustang in the Shelby lineup.
The performance packages for the 2010-2011 Mustang GT and Mustang V6, codenamed Project 2010-06a and Project 2010-06b, are the most likely to be produced as Shelby has already built a concept version. i own a 2008 mustang v6 4.0L 5spd manual and would like the chance to have the first of these twin turbo kits fitted in the uk if possible !
The twin-turbo kit is for the GT500 only
@al howarth…
why not just add one of the blowers available for the v-6 that doesn’t void the warranty to your current car? you would be siting at about 300 hp which is what the GTs roughly have. Or, you could go get the ’11 v6 and be done
question for the admin…you have the kit for the GT500 at 100K, is that turnkey or do you have to buy the car in addition?
Shelby’s price does not include the cost of the donor car.
