MagnaCharger is well known for their roots-style supercharger kits for all types of American muscle cars. Their supercharger system for the 2005+ Mustang added 125 horsepower and 125 lb-ft torque and came with a standard 3-year warranty. It looks like the company has been busy with the new 2011 Mustang GT as well, and has provided a sneak peak of the new supercharger system ahead of its debut at SEMA next week. TruCarbon, a division of TruFiber, has just announced a new line of carbon fiber body components for the 2010+ Ford Mustang and the 2010+ Shelby GT500. The parts range from splash guards ($99.00) to a Venom functional ram air heat extractor GT500 hood ($1,899.00). Each of the parts is designed for both the performance driver and the show car enthusiast in mind and is designed to install easily and fit using OEM hardware and manufacturer accessories. Earlier today automotive news sites and forums went into much speculation after InsideLine posted spy photos of what they believe to be a pre-production EcoBoost Mustang testing on public streets. Their reasoning included a 9000 rpm tachometer, a sign above the gauges reading “Premium Fuel Only” and a new bumper that could help feed air to an intercooler.
But are those reasons enough to think that this particular Mustang has a turbocharged motor underneath the hood? Another possibility is that Ford is doing final testing on the 2012 Mustang Boss 302. …

Ford Motor Company is tapping the 2010 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show in Las Vegas to showcase nine customized versions of Mustang, displaying the vehicles alongside the new Mustang Boss 302.

MGW has released an updated version of its legendary shifter that works with the both the 2010 Mustang including both the GT and the V6. The new shifter retains many of the patented features of MGW’s original shifter for the 2005-2009 models including an adjustable handle, sound deadening center shaft design, variable throw, and high-quality replacement bushings. The new design is also lighter, easier to install, and provides smoother, quieter shifts. MGW lists pricing for its 2010 Mustang shifter at $260.00.

The 2010 SEMA show is right around the corner, and it looks like there will no shortage of Mustangs and new products on display at the Las Vegas convention center. One of those will be Eibach’s 2011 Mustang show car that will feature their Multi-Pro R2 suspension system along with a host of other upgrades including Brembo brakes, Roush supercharger, and a full Roush body kit.

Last month Roush unveiled its most potent version of the 2011 Mustang yet, the 5XR. The company’s latest pony car makes 525 horsepower and 465 lb-ft torque from the new 5.0L V8 thanks to the company’s new supercharger, and with Roush’s legendary suspension tuning the 5XR is no doubt one of the highest performing Mustangs you can buy from a dealer. Western Motorsports has always taken a different approach to designing intake systems for the Mustang than most other companies, and their newest intake for the 2011 Mustang uses the same front-mounted design as their system for the 2005-2010 models.
