New Product: Livernois Motorsports Stage 1 heads for the 2011 Mustang GT
There’s no doubt that the new 4-valve cylinder heads in Ford’s new 5.0L V8 flow much more air than the previous generation 3-valve heads, but the one thing we are learning about the 2011 Mustang is that Ford left plenty of room for improvement. Enter Livernois Motorsports, who has announced the availability of its Stage 1 CNC heads for the 2011 Mustang GT. The company designed, developed and produces the Stage 1 heads in-house at its Dearbon Heights facility.
The package includes:
- 5 axis CNC-machined
- Fully assembled w/o camshafts
- Custom CNC valve job
- Custom ground factory intake valves
- Custom ground factory exhaust valves
Livernois Motorsports has yet to release official flow numbers or horsepower gains, but expects customers to see around a 30 rwhp gain. Stage 2 and Stage 3 heads are also in development, which will include a unique port design and upgraded hardware.
Pricing for the Stage 1 package is listed at $1,299.99, which does not include the base core. Livernois Motorsports requires that customers provide the factory heads.
