Video: Tasca Mod Shop shows off Ford Racing’s 750 horsepower Shelby GT500 supercharger
Back in August Ford announced a new 750 supercharger upgrade for the GT500 (part # M-6066-MSVT29TD), and at $6,295 it offers a huge bang for the buck for Shelby owners. The system is also 50-state legal and runs on 93 octane, meaning that owners can drive on the street without worries.
One of the first to install the FRPP supercharger is the Tasca Mod Shop, who are no strangers to making Mustangs go fast. They installed the 2.9L Whipple supercharger on a brand new 2011 Shelby GT500 and created a video with Carl Tasca Jr. to give an overview of what’s included with the package. We don’t want to give away too much, but the Tasca Mod Shop made some further improvements as well, and at the end you will get to see the modified Shelby’s performance put to good use. You can watch the video below.
