Shelby completes first production 2011 GT350s, ready to deliver to customers
It’s been nine long months since Shelby first unveiled the 2011 GT350 at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction, and since then those wanting one of Carroll’s latest creations have been patiently waiting for the company to start delivering cars. As of this week, those customers won’t have to wait too much longer. Shelby has just completed the first batch of production GT350s, as evidenced by the photos below.
From the looks of it, the first customers have opted for the Ford Racing / Whipple supercharger version. The option adds an extra $7,000 to the car, but makes it the fastest production Mustang in the world according to Motor Trend. Other available options for the GT350 include a polished supercharger, 6-piston rear brakes, Watts link, Kicker premium sound system and more. buy a 2011 now, and it wont be ready till someonetime in 2012 if your lucky, they are over a year behind producing these cars.
