SEMA 2010: Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords builds their own custom 2011 Mustang
If there’s anyone that knows Mustang performance, it’s the guys over at Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords. The magazine got the chance to build their very own car for SEMA this year, and head honcho Evan Smith and associate editors Pete Epple and Marc Christ jumped at the chance to get their hands dirty with a 2011 Mustang. They decided on a drag racing theme with Weld wheels and Nitto drag tires and a BMR suspension setup.
Under the hood is a Ford Racing/Whipple supercharger system paired with a set of Kooks headers and a NOS nitrous system. The exterior features Visual FX custom paint, Cervinis cowl hood and a Roush rear wing, and inside is a set of Corbeau racing seats. Other companies involved in the project include Auto Meter, Blow-By-Racing, Maximum Motorsports, SCT, Strange Engineering and more. You’ll be able to read more about the car in their March issue (available on January 25), but until then check out our photo gallery of the car below.
