Scosche Mustang Dash Kit

Scosche Industries, award winning innovator of mobile electronic products and accessories for the aftermarket, is pleased to introduce a dash kit for the 2010 & up Ford Mustang at the 2010 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.  In an industry first, the FD1441B “Custom Kit, Factory Fit” installation kit incorporates a full color, touch screen air conditioning controller.  Configurable for single or dual climate controls, the kit plugs directly into the factory AC harness making for a quick and easy install without needing to cut or splice wires.

In the new Ford Mustang dash, the factory radio and the air conditioning controls are incorporated into one unit, making it difficult to upgrade the factory radio with an aftermarket system.  The FD1441B kit makes is possible to update to an aftermarket system by integrating the touch screen AC controller into the dash kit.

“Scosche is committed to offering the best technology to our customers,” said Kas Alves, executive vice president, Scosche Industries.  “Motoring enthusiasts like Ford Mustang owners want the highest quality product, and we’re proud to offer them a better driving experience by being first to market with this specially designed kit.”

Scosche’s “Custom kit, Factory fit” dash kits offer automotive-grade components for seamless installation of any aftermarket head-unit to replace the factory radio. the FD1441B kit is made of high strength ABS/PC material and matches the factory contour and color for a precise aftermarket installation.   It accommodates a DIN mount with pocket or Double DIN mount.  The full installation kit will include all the necessary hardware including pre-installed factory style clips along with complete installation instructions.

The FD1441B installation kit will be available at specialty retailers across the United States starting early spring.  For a complete aftermarket installation, Scosche also manufacturers the matching harness for the FDSR interface that retails for $129.99 and the CRAB antenna adapter that retails for $14.95.  Visit www.scosche.com for more information on this and other “Custom Kit, Factory Fit” products.

Very nice looking install kit just wondering if the faceplate on the Nav system has room to fold out with transmission shifter in park??? it would seem better for the Nav system to be in the middle.

I completely agree in that the double din mount radio should definitely be in the middle. Hopefully they will make 2 versions and give you the options to choose.

I own a 2010 GT500 and I wanna know will I lose any features from my car…? I don’t want it to mess with my sync… What does it come with…? What’s the full price?

I like the dash kit but does it come in different color, because my Mustang interior is black and I would prefer the dash to blend in with everything or if they make red wood dash.
