SuperChips 2011 Mustang Tuners

Superchips announces the release of performance tuning for the 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L and the Mustang 3.7L. Part numbers include the Flashpaq (part no. 1865) and Cortex (part no. 1950). Both tuners include multiple Octane tunes for both Mustangs; 93-Performance, 91-Performance 87-Performance.

The performance tunes provide enhanced throttle response and optimized shift adjustments and firmness, raised rev limiter and noticeable drivability improvements. The gains with the Superchips 93-Octane performance tune serves up to 35.0 max horsepower and 40.0 lbs-ft max torque for the Mustang GT 5.0L when equipped. The 93-Octane performance tune for the Mustang 3.7L provides up to 20.0 max horsepower and 23.0 lbs-ft max torque when equipped.

Advanced features for the Mustangs include: raise the rev limiter, raise the speed limiter, calibrate for axle ratio and tire size changes, skip shift disable, global spark adder, adjust for high flow cats, adjust torque management, set the fan on/off temperature and multiple transmission options for setting shift points, pressures and times.

Superchips tuners include many useful features including working as a diagnostic scan tool, real-time in-cabin vehicle sensor display, vehicle performance data logger for 0 – 60 and ¼ miles times. Cortex also includes a limited 2-year powertrain warranty.
