Video: JPC Racing’s 802 rwhp 2011 Mustang hits the dyno
Back in September we reported that DiabloSport and JPC Racing had teamed up to build a 2011 Mustang drag car. At the time the car had some pretty significant modifications – Metco billet lower control arms with ICM brackets, Bassani race mufflers, Bogart racing wheels 15×3.5 front and 15×11 rear, Kooks headers with high-flow catted x-pipe, Eibach Pro Kit, Eibach adjustable shocks and struts, Mickey Thompson tires 28x11x5, Zex nitrous oxide system and Strange C clip eliminators and spool with Ford Racing 4.56 gears – but not too much in the way of engine upgrades.
Since then the JPC crew has added a Paxton supercharger system to the 5.0L V8 and turned up the boost – 12 psi to be exact. They put the car on the rollers to see how much power the car could make, and it didn’t disappoint. The JPC Mustang put out just over 802 horsepower at the rear wheels. You can watch a video of the dyno run below.
