2012 Mustang Boss 302 priced at $40,995, Laguna Seca Package at $47,990
Ever since the 2012 Mustang Boss 302 was unveiled back in August we have been eagerly anticipating the price tag that Ford would put on the car. Earlier this month it was revealed that pricing would be “approximately $40,000″ but no exact figure was given. Now it looks like we have the pricing for the car, although Ford has yet to officially announce the numbers.
Over at the forums at TheMustangSource, one member has posted a pricing structure that looks to be on target. The Boss 302 MSRP will be $40,995 (including destination and delivery). Recaro seats and Torsen differential add an additional $1,995, an accessory package with floor mats and car cover costs $475, and the Yellow Blaze Tri-Coat tacks on another $495. The Laguna Seca Package will retail for $47,990. Again, Ford has yet to officially release pricing for the 2012 Mustang Boss 302, but these numbers seem like the real deal.
UPDATE – A representative at Ford has confirmed this is the correct pricing.

Ooops- you forgot to add at least 10G dealer markup for the Boss 302 and 30G markup for the Leguna Seca.
The dealers can try but many will fail to get those mark-up in todays economy. IMO
Drew, is that one of your exquisite photos? Whoever took it did a great job!
This car looks fabulous. I’ve no doubt the engine upgrades will be most impressive. I remember all to well the 1970 Boss I had and the engine issues as well. Mine was ordered the end of Nov. It’s going to be a long winter. Anyone have any idea what the “Race Key” will go for?
I have a good feeling that the ’12 BOSS 302 specs are going to be STANDARD on the 2014 Mustang GT.
Just saying…
My Boss 302 is arriving in 6 says! I’m getting it at sticker price with all the bells & whistles. Hope the rest of you are as lucky!
I found a dealer willing to sell me my Laguna Seca for MSRP as well! I’m really psyched about the Trac Key option which, BTW, will cost $302. Mine is in Silver Ingot/Red and should be arriving any day now.
