Ford Racing officially announces details and pricing for 2012 Cobra Jet, currently taking orders
Last week the specs for the 2012 Mustang Cobra Jet were leaked, and now Ford Racing has officially released full details for the factory race car including pricing. As we previously reported, the 2012 model will get a revised version of the supercharged 5.4L V8 with an aluminum block now coming standard. The new Cobra Jet also comes with optimized suspension system, upgraded brakes, black anodized Weld Racing wheels, and new compound Goodyear tires. Three colors will be available – Race Red, Grabber Blue, and Winner White. Pricing will start at $91,900 and can go up to $103,980 with graphics and supercharger options. Ford Racing is currently taking orders with production planned in February and March of next year, with just 50 Cobra Jets scheduled to be built.

Based on the successful 2008 and 2010 Cobra Jet programs, Ford Racing is proud to announce the 2012 Cobra Jet Mustang! The 2012 model will be produced in February and March of 2011 at the Auto Alliance Plant in Flat Rock, MI. Three color options will be available; Race Red, Grabber Blue, and Winner White. Optional “Snake” graphics will be available ($1,995 MSRP).
