Paxton releases pricing for 2011 Mustang supercharger systems
Paxton has yet to release official details and specifications for its 2011 Mustang supercharger system, but we have been able to get a preview of the upcoming kit on a few custom cars. The Pep Boys Mustang at SEMA had a prototype Paxton supercharger system installed, as did the one-off WD-40 Mustang that will be up for auction at Barrett-Jackson in January. Each of the kits featured Paxton’s high output NOVI 2200 centrifugal compressor and an integrated air/air charger cooler. JPC are also using a modified version of the system to power their 2011 Mustang race car.
While horsepower and torque numbers aren’t available quite yet, we do know how much the Paxton supercharger system will cost. Pricing will start at $4,695.95 for a tuner kit with a satin finish and can go all the way up to $5,995.95 for the complete system and a polished finish. This is only a slight price increase from the 2005-2010 systems. You can see the full pricing breakdown below:
