Vortech 2011 Mustang Supercharger

Vortech first showed off their supercharger for the 2011 Mustang GT back in August, but information about the system have been far and few since then. We got our first in-person look at the supercharger on the Mustang in Vortech’s booth as well as on the Tjin Edition Mustang, but the company was still tight-lipped about any specific details regarding horsepower and pricing.

Now Vortech has finally obliged, and has announced that their complete supercharger system will offer up 605 horsepower and 473 lb-ft torque at the flywheel, an improvement of 193 horsepower and 83 lb-ft torque. The kit includes Vortech’s V-3 Si-Trim supercharger with a 3.6-inch drive pulley producing 7.5-8.5 psi of boost. Also included are an SCT programmer with a 91 octane tune, high-flow fuel injectors, fuel rail spacers, air inlet assembly, mounting brackets and all necessary hardware. Vortech has listed pricing for the complete system at $5,680.95 to $5,995.95 depending on the finish (black, satin or polished). For those that want to build up their own system, Vortech offers a tuning kit with a price range of $4,695.95 to $4,995.95. You can see more details below.
