Lee Iacocca’s personal 45th Anniversary Edition Mustang up for auction to benefit charity
In 2009 the legendary Lee Iacocca teamed up with Metal Crafters to produce the Iacocca Silver 45th Anniversary Edition Mustang. Just 45 were built, making it one of the most desirable Mustangs of all time. Of course, Iacocca had one built for himself, but the legendary former vice president of Ford has now put the car up for auction with the proceeds being donated to Keep Memory Alive. Not only will the winner of the auction win the car, number 19 of 45, but they will also have the opportunity to have lunch with Mr. Iacocca in Los Angeles. The car features the optional Ford Racing supercharger good for 400 horsepower as well as 14-inch brakes, 20-inch chrome wheels, custom leather interior, a certificate of authenticity and more.
Bidding on the car is currently at $80,000, but with an estimated value of $120,000 the reserve has yet to be met. The auction ends on February 23rd, so those interested in the car will have plenty of time to put in their bids.
