Saleen Series VII Supercharger System

Saleen Performance Vehicles may not be producing any more cars after this year, but Saleen Speedlab is alive and well and is currently developing new products for the 2011+ Mustang. Many of their new parts so far have been cosmetic, like the carbon fiber body pieces and wheels introduced at SEMA, but that will soon change. Saleen’s upcoming supercharger system for the new 5.0L V8, designated as the Series VII, will soon be unveiled.

As a sneak peak of the Series VII supercharger, Saleen has sent us a high-contrast image showing the basic details of the system’s design. The photo shows that the new twin-screw supercharger will feature a front inlet, inverted rotor design similar in layout to Edelbrock’s. Additional specs, such as horsepower and torque figures, boost levels and price are still unknown, but we’ll be sure to bring them to you as soon as they are announced.
