Ford Racing worked closely with Aeromotive to develop a fuel system for the 2010 Mustang Cobra Jet race cars, and now Aeromotive is offering that same fuel system for the 2005-present Mustang GT. The system is a direct bolt-on option, and features the 6g Eliminator Stealth fuel cell, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel rails, fuel sample valves, braided fuel lines and all necessary plumbing and wiring. Aeromotive also offers both the complete system or individual components to allow Mustang owners the ability to upgrade only what they need.

The 2012 Mustang Boss 302S race car has had a fantastic start to the 2011 race season, taking the checkered flag in two of the first three races of the GTS class in the SCCA World Challenge race series. The success of the Boss 302S isn’t just by luck, though, and Ford Racing has done their due diligence when developing each of the parts for the car. The aerodynamics of the car was honed in the wind tunnel, and the engine went through rigorous thermal testing on the dyno at …

When Vaughn Gittin Jr. unveiled the 1969 RTR-X Mustang at SEMA last year, he promised that the car wouldn’t be a trailer queen. “This car is built to be driven,” he said at the time. “This thing is not just going to sit on a trailer and go from show to show. We are going to be beating this beautiful machine up.”
Gittin lived up to his promise and yesterday took the RTR-X out for its very first test session at Willow Springs Raceway. After a few …

Spy photographers have caught what appears to be a 2013 Ford Mustang roaming the streets of Dearborn, and Inside Line believes that the camouflaged pony car could either be the next Shelby GT500 or Boss 302. The prototype has some features of both cars – the overall shape of the hood and grille are most definitely from the current GT500, while the driving light blanks look similar to those in the Boss 302. Some of the styling features, though, are all new. The hood features two longitudinal intakes instead of …

Late last year Cervinis unveiled their C-Series body kit, and they are following that up with the introduction of their new 2.5-inch cowl hood designed for the 2010+ Mustang. Made from premium hand-laid fiberglass, the cowl hood features a finished underside liner that can be painted for a show quality appearance as well as rear screened air vents to keep underhood temperatures down. In addition to adding a more aggressive look to the Mustang, the cowl hood also provides additional underhood clearance for most aftermarket supercharger systems.

One of the new features of the 2012 Roush Stage 3 Mustang is the two-tone graphics package. Customers can choose between six stripe colors and six stripe accent colors along with the eight color choices available for the base vehicle. That can make for some interesting combinations, especially with colors like Red-Blooded American, Luminescent Lime and Blue Bayou.
To give us a better idea of the color combinations that are being produced, Roush has released new photos of the Stage 3 Mustangs in production at their assembly plant in Livonia, Michigan. …

Roush says that it takes more than eight hours to install one of their supercharger systems on a 2011+ Mustang, and we can imagine that they would have a hard time finding anyone who would want to watch a video of the installation in its entirety. That’s where the simple-yet-fascinating technology of stop-motion video comes in. Roush had the cameras rolling during the installation of the supercharger on one of their Stage 3 Mustangs that will compete in the One Lap of America event, and condensed the footage down to …

We got our first look at the 1969 Anvil Mustang at SEMA last year. The Pro-Touring pony car features the company’s carbon fiber body components from the front spoiler to the rear quarter panel extensions. The Anvil Mustang is more than skin deep, though, with a custom-built 520 cubic inch aluminum V8 under the hood as well as a high-tech cantilever suspension system, Ford 9-inch rear end, 6-speed transmission and Baer brakes. Anvil told us at SEMA that they planned to “drive the wheels off it” and from the looks …

It’s been less than a month since the 2012 Mustang Boss 302 arrived in dealer showrooms around the country, and already performance upgrades are being offered for the limited edition pony car. Evolution Performance of Aston, PA has developed new “Power Packages” for Boss 302 owners who are wanting more out of the high-revving 5.0L V8.
While further upgrades will undoubtedly soon be available, for now Evolution has stuck with the tried-and-true combination of an intake and tune developed specifically on their in-house dyno. The package includes an SCT X3 tuning …
