Roush Stage 3 Mustang Supercharger Install

Roush says that it takes more than eight hours to install one of their supercharger systems on a 2011+ Mustang, and we can imagine that they would have a hard time finding anyone who would want to watch a video of the installation in its entirety. That’s where the simple-yet-fascinating technology of stop-motion video comes in. Roush had the cameras rolling during the installation of the supercharger on one of their Stage 3 Mustangs that will compete in the One Lap of America event, and condensed the footage down to around three minutes.

The Roush supercharger system, featured on the 2012 Stage 3 Mustang as well as the 2011 5XR Mustang, is also available separately for purchase. The kit includes the R2300 TVS supercharger, twin 60mm throttle body, high-flow fuel rail with 47 lb/hr injectors, high capacity air-to-water intercooler, high-flow induction system, a unique Roush calibration and more. Roush states that the system will generate 525+ horsepower and 465 lb-ft torque from the Mustang’s 5.0L V8. Pricing starts at $5,899.00 for a tuner kit and $6,099.00 for the complete system.
