Video: Lethal Performance’s pedal cam shows how to power shift a 2011 Mustang to a 10 second 1/4 mile

The guys over at Lethal Performance are no strangers to drag racing. Their Whipple-supercharged 2011 Mustang GT project car is the fastest in the country equipped with a manual transmission boasting a best time of 10.2 sec @ 134 mph. Fortunately they also love to put their exploits to the drag strip on video, sometimes getting creative with the camera angles.

Their latest video shows that achieving those 10 second time slips is more than just having a fast car – a good amount of skill is required as well. A “pedal cam” shows off the tricky footwork of driver Jeremy Martorella of UPR Products, from the burnout to the clutch-dropping launch to the lightning fast power shifts.
