2010 Hurst Mustang Winner

Just a handful of Hurst Mustangs were built in the last few years, making them a pretty valuable collector’s item. At least one owner, however, didn’t have to shell out the cash to buy one. Jesse Gloystein, a car salesman from Omaha, Nebraska, made a hole-in-one at the Swingers Open at the Northridge Golf Course recently to win a 2010 Hurst Mustang worth approximately $77,000. Coincidentally, Woodhouse Ford, who is Gloystein’s employer, sponsored the car.

Gloystein had a better chance than most, however. He’s an avid golfer and played collegiately at Nebraska Wesleyan. “It’s real challenging, and something you can never perfect,” he said. “I had one perfect shot. You can’t do much better than that.” He continued, “It’s a pretty cool trophy. Not many people can say they won a trophy from making a hole in one.”

Gloystein has already had a custom license plate created for the car: holnwon.
