Video: Coyote Countdown at the Carlisle All Ford Nationals
Earlier this month hundreds of Mustang owners gathered for the 15th annual All Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA for a weekend filled with drag racing, car shows, manufacturer displays and more. One of the companies in attendance was Kurgen Motorsports who teamed up with Ford Racing to install a new Coyote 5.0L V8 crate engine into a Fox Body Mustang live at the show floor. Named the “Coyote Countdown”, the demonstration showed just how easy it is to install the engine with Ford Racing’s installation kit, and the Kurgen Motorsports team did just that by completing the build in less than five hours.
Ford Racing had the cameras rolling during the installation, and has some footage of the Kurgen Motorsports team at work as well as the completed Mustang doing a huge burnout at the drag strip. You can check out the video below.
