Video: First 2012 Mustang Boss 302 in the 10′s
From the factory the 2012 Mustang Boss 302 is already a fast pony car, capable of breaking into the 11′s when fitted with a set of drag radials. So what happens when one of the best Mustang tuners in the country gets their hands on one? You guessed it! They make it even faster.
The folks at Lethal Performance, located in Wellington, FL, purchased a brand new 2012 Mustang Boss 302 a few weeks ago and have already put 1,400 miles on the odometer. They recently took the car to the drag strip at Palm Beach International Raceway and came away with a best time of 10.64 @ 124 mph. Lethal won’t disclose yet what modifications have been done to the car (they will be published in an upcoming issue 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords), although they did say that a set of Mickey Thompson 15″ ET Drag tires were used. You can check out a video of the 10 second run below.
