Official 2013 Mustang Boss 302 colors leaked?
Last year SPEED TV aired a documentary on the development of the 2012 Mustang Boss 302, and a few short clips showing the inside of one of Ford’s design studios revealed the possible colors and styling of the 2013 Boss 302. The design more closely resembles that of the 1970 Boss 302 model, just as the 2012 model takes its styling cues from the 1969 Boss 302. Instead of the C-stripe on the 2012, the side stripe slants vertically up over the fender where they form triple stripes that run down the length of the hood.
As for the colors, the documentary showed off the Boss 302 in green, red, blue, white and yellow. At the time we could only guess as to what the actual colors would be, but now a forum member of Boss302.com has information that possibly reveals the specific colors that will be offered. According to a Ford dealership, the 2013 Boss 302 will be available in Gotta-Have-It Green, School Bus Yellow, Grabber Blue, Performance White and Race Red. Competition Orange, Kona Blue and Yellow Blaze Tri-Coat will no longer be offered. Laguna Seca model colors weren’t mentioned, but we can assume that the paint scheme will be black and white with yellow or gold graphics and wheels.
