For the last several years a pair of Mustangs have been raffled off to benefit wounded veterans. Last year a matching pair of Boss 302 Mustangs, both painted in Calypso Coral, were raffled with the proceeds going to the Healing Heroes Network. This year at SEMA the newest prizes were announced – a set of 1967 and 2012 Shelby GT500s, with the money raised from the raffle going to benefit the WorldCause Foundation, Paralyzed Veterans of America and Henry Ford Health System. What’s even more incredible is that the winner of the car will also receive $50,000 to pay for the taxes on the cars.

The Shelby GT500s, painted to match in Raven Black with Red Le Mans stripes, aren’t your standard Mustangs. The 1967 GT500 is a museum-quality example that has been in the Lingenfelter collection for the last year and features a 428 cubic inch V8 and four-speed manual transmission. The 2012 model has been modified from the standard GT500, featuring a Whipple supercharger good for 750 horsepower, suspension upgrades, Steeda shifter and more.
