SEMA 2011: Scosche dash kit for the 2010+ Mustang available at end of November
Last year at SEMA Scosche unveiled their new double din dash kit for the 2010+ Mustang, promising that they would be available to customers in the early part of 2011. Production issues delayed the availability of the dash kit, but Scosche now tells us that customers will now be able to get their hands on one at the end of November (just in time for Christmas!).
The FD1441B installation kit incorporates a full color, touch screen air conditioning controller. Configurable for single or dual climate controls, the kit plugs directly into the factory AC harness making for a quick and easy install without needing to cut or splice wires. The FD1441B kit also makes is possible to update to an aftermarket system by integrating the touch screen AC controller into the dash kit.
The Scosche 2010+ Mustang dash kit will be available at specialty retailers across the United States with a price of $299.99. For a complete aftermarket installation, Scosche also manufacturers the matching FDSR interface that retails for $129.99 and the CRAB antenna adapter that retails for $14.95.
