At SEMA last year Vaughn Gittin Jr. took the wraps off his 1969 Mustang RTR-X. At the time he promised the car wouldn’t be a trailer queen, saying “this car is built to be driven. This thing is not just going to sit on a trailer and go from show to show. We are going to be beating this beautiful machine up.” Gittin was true to his word, as we witnessed him complete the first shakedown test of the RTR-X at Willow Springs Raceway earlier this year. Gittin has brought the RTR-X back to SEMA for 2011 for a second showing, and it still looks just as good as it did a year ago.
