Video: MotorWeek reviews the 2012 Mustang Boss 302
The long-running MotorWeek program on PBS recently reviewed the 2012 Mustang Boss 302, and the verdict is in. Host John Davis praises the Boss, saying “We loved every foot of asphalt that we conquered in this very special Mustang.” Like many other reviewers, including ourselves, MotorWeek also praised the Boss 302 for its balanced performance, stating that “everything about the Boss works together just right.” The show also praised the interior, especially the Recaro seats, which they say are “an awesome upgrade.”
MotorWeek is generally known for its conservative numbers when it comes to performance evaluations. The show recorded a 0-60 time of 4.4 seconds at their in-house test track, as well as a 1/4 mile time of 12.4 seconds at 124 mph. The Boss also performed well in their braking test from 60-0 mph with a distance of 111 feet.
