We love photos of Ford Mustangs, and we love them even more if we took them ourselves. That’s why we spent the last year pointing our lenses at Ford’s pony car at auto shows, gatherings, races, auctions and more. Motorsports events seemed to bring out some of the best images, from the Pikes Peak Hill Climb to Formula Drift events to SCCA World Challenge Racing. We also spent plenty of time photographing Mustangs for road tests and for features like the one-off Red Tails Mustang or Carlo Spiga’s amazing 2011 Mustang GT.

The ’65 at Pikes Peak is a work of art. I’d rather have that on my wall than a Picasso
The second photo from the bottom in the right column is titled. “1967 Mustang at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb” but it is a 1965 or 1966 in the photo.
I actually feel that any picture of some one enjoying their mustang or shelby vehicle is worth a look, Stan
If I only had a time machine…
I’d set it back to the mid ’70s and pick up a 10yr old ’64/65 Shelby-Mustang GT350 for probably close to nothing (especially a used & abused race car!) and while I’m at it, maybe I’d be able to get a 289 Cobra for “chump change” as well?.
