Bobby – by saying that this will be the fifth time Ford will introduce a new Mustang, we weren’t counting the first one. Perhaps we should have worded it better.

Pretty sure this will be the sixth generation of mustang, unless they don’t count the third gen mustangs which can’t really be considered true mustangs.

I don’t doubt the ’15 Mustang IF it looks this good,will be a seller.Shame there won’t be a Boss 302,but then,as long as us “europhiles” get a chance of a right hooker,i for one shall be pleased.Queing up right now for one!!

It the 2015 looks as good as the rendering I’d be in hog heaven but I’m pretty sure J. Mays is going to screw it up. How does he still have a job with his list of utter failures? Has he ever really hit one out of the park for Ford?

He took the Taurus from best seller to so bad they had to retire the name for a few years. And even now the new model is on life-support dependent on fleet sales to keep it viable as per Consumer Reports.

I love Mustangs. I own a Mustang, my second in fact. But I’d rather see the Mustang retired than have its heritage destroyed by a bad redesign.

to start with i have a 07gt when the car debuted in 05, similairities to my 67 fastback sold me on the car.When the styling started changing in 10 to 13 it took awhile but i’m digging it, would love to put the ponies and suspension of a 13 underneath my car.Now getting a glimpse of the 15 i have to say i’m digging it also because i like to see progress if it’s going in the right direction and i think ford just might have something going on here.God forbid that the car gets to much smaller lighter okay but smaller c’mon, america and canada are headed in always to becoming european our car,homes,lifesytles,wages,multiculturalism in someways good but mostly bad,so don’t give us another throwaway car, let the europeans have their small engines,small car ( eg, 74-78 mustangs )let us have our mustang the way it was meant to be ” in your face ” and proud of it.

If Jay Mays and his group of designers get this wrong he will go down in history as the guy who ruined the mustang after 50 years. That is a lot of pressure!
