Ruby Red 2015 Ford Mustang GT

We haven’t seen too many photos of the 2015 Ford Mustang out in the wild (with the exception of Ford’s official press photos), so we were excited to see these new pictures pop up of the car being filmed in Utah. The images were snagged by local photographer Chance Hales, who had spotted the car on a trailer the day before and learned it would be used in a commercial shoot the next day. He followed up, and was able to get these great photos during the filming.

Chance says they were filming an actual commercial for Ford, although it’s tough to see what they were going for in the photos. He says that “the scene is basically a bunch of guys drive up and get out of the car dressed in aerobics suits, and they meet a group of girls in similar attire and have some sort of dance off.” What does that have to do with the Mustang? We have no idea. Hopefully we’ll find out soon.

On a side note, this is also the first time we’ve seen the 2015 Mustang in Ruby Red. Take a look at the photo gallery below and let us know what you think.

Odd location, where are the girls shots. Hope that Ford is not bringing J Lo or P Daddy to promote the PONY.

Car is great , specially the sculpturing of the hood. But the front lights and grille- cannot become familiar with that. Looking in the big round eyes of my ’07 GT is much more exhilarating.

About the spot: I’m a scientist – thinking of marketing and advertisment guys is strange for me ;-)Do they think?

That is my next Mustang! I like the Ruby Red Metallic color and chrome or silver wheels with a stone or gray leather interior. Can hardly wait to order mine. Will get first in-person, close-up view in Charlotte in 2 weeks!!!

I love the car from the A pillar back, Ford needs to lose the Fusion front clip.
