Hundreds of Ford owners and enthusiasts converged on Buena Park, CA this past weekend for the 28th annual Fabulous Fords Forever at Knott’s Berry Farm, the largest Ford Mustang event on the West Coast that kicks off the car show season in Southern California. The largest Mustang show in Southern California might be Fabulous Fords at Knotts, but for us nothing beats the setting of Mustangs at the Queen Mary. Steve Saleen held his annual open house and car show this weekend at his company’s production facility in Corona, CA, as owners and enthusiasts gathered from all around the country to enjoy the festivities. This year is the 50th anniversary of Shelby American, marking half a century since the first Cobras rolled out of the a modest assembly plant in Los Angeles. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Cobra, and Shelby is going all out to celebrate the car that started it all. This past weekend the Beach Cities Mustang Club held the 15th annual Mustangs at the Queen Mary car show. The event is one of Southern California’s largest Mustang gatherings and is known for its beautiful settings in the Long Beach harbor. This year was no exception, and hundreds of Mustang owners and enthusiasts enjoyed a beautiful sunny day full of cars, food and fun.

The NMRA visited the California for the very first time in the series’ history, holding its very first West Coast Shootout at Auto Club Dragway this past weekend.
