Full-Race Motorsports 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost

Full-Race Motorsports isn’t well known within the Mustang community, but the Phoenix-based company does specialize in turbocharger packages for 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engines. With the 2.3-liter Ecoboost engine now available in the 2015 Mustang, that made it the perfect time for Full-Race to get involved in American Muscle. The 2015 Mustang you see here is fitted with their “FreakoBoost” turbo kit that includes a front-mounted intercooler, 3-inch turbo-back dual exhaust system, 3-inch intake and a thermostat controlled oil kit. In total, Full-Race says the engine now producees an incredible 500 horsepower and 450 lb-ft torque.

“We’re hand-building it all in-house; it’s a big task for our 15 guys,” notes Eric Marquiss, Full-Race Motorsports logistics manager. “We’re building this as a real race car,” he adds. “After SEMA, it will compete at SCCA events and eventually time attack events. This will be a plated, fully functional, street-driven track car that’s very competitive.”

The car also features a host of other race-functional upgrades including a carbon fiber rear spoiler and front splitter, coilover suspension system, limited-slip differential, Brembo brakes, Volk Racing TE37 Ultra wheels with Toyo Proxes R888 tires and FIA-approved racing seats.
