Video: Evolution Peformance first to run 8s with 2013 Shelby GT500

 

Last year Evolution Performance became the first to run a 2013 Shelby GT500 in the 9s, setting the benchmark with a 9.95 second pass at 142 mph at Atco Raceway in New Jersey. Now the shop in Aston, PA has once again reset the mark with an astounding 8.94 second run, becoming the first to drop below the nine second mark in  2013 Shelby GT500. 2014 Holman & Moody TdF Mustang production underway, package price starts at $9,896.00

It’s been a full six months since Holman & Moody first unveiled the 2014 TdF Mustang at SEMA back in November, so it would be understandable if you had forgotten about the car or perhaps thought the project was no longer a go. New Product: Jim Inglese Independent Runner Induction Systems for the Coyote 5.0L V8

Jim Inglese, a name who is legendary for building Weber carburetion systems, has announced that his company will be offering Independent Runner Weber and EFI induction units for the Coyote 5.0-liter engine. Each eight-stack system is custom-built and calibrated for each engine, with a wide variety of plating and other finishes available.

After announcing the updated 2014 Mustang Cobra Jet earlier this year, Ford Racing completed the first test session of the development car last week at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Adel, GA. An Ohio man is now the proud owner of a brand new Ford Mustang thanks to his perfect attendance at work for the year. Ford Mustang sales hold steady in April

Ford Mustang sales held the line in the month of April, both in terms of month-to-month and year over year numbers. Ford dealers sold 7,751 Mustangs in April, just short (0.6%) of the 7,801 Mustangs sold in the same month last year. The sales also represented a slight increase compared to March 2013 sales, in which 7,688 units were sold. Ford reveals limited edition watch to celebrate Mustang’s 50th anniversary

Ford is teaming up with Shinola, a Detroit-based luxury goods manufacturer, to celebrate 50 years of the Ford Mustang with the release of a premium 46-millimeter wristwatch with Swiss movements. Only 50 companies will be licensed to create products bearing the Mustang 50 Years logo, which was designed to celebrate the sports car leading up to its 50th birthday on April 17, 2014. Shinola is one of the first manufacturers to help mark this milestone.
